I must say I have not worn these kinds of trousers for quite some time.  I have several pairs of dress pants like this in my closet for work, but because of the warm weather, coupled with the skinnier leg trend I just haven’t been inclined to put them on.

Today, though, was different.  It’s my first day back at work in almost two weeks and we’ve finally got some good dumps of rain, thus cooler weather.  Somehow these pants wanted to make a reappearance.  Fine with me – it’s amazing how flared leg pants, hemmed long and worn with heels can make your legs seem miles longer.

Thanks for all of your supportive comments regarding the passing of my beautiful cat, Chloe – those comments made me feel less alone.  Boy was I glad I had lots of blog posts at the ready, though, so that I could just
‘be’ with my sad feelings for a few weeks.  I bet you didn’t even know I was gone, right?
